With perhaps the most imposing list of graduates in show business, the Second City conglomerate enters its 35th year with four Chicago-area resident troupes as well as the Second City National Touring Company, which provides outreach comedy for improvisationally deficient areas beyond the Windy City. Though D.C. has its share of make-it-up-as-you-go groups, there’s always a chance with any SC show that you might be witnessing the next Belushi—or even Shelley Long.
