I’M SORRY TO KEEP bugging you folks. Really. But I did feel compelled to write just one more time to point out that John Wayne Bobbitt Uncut is not directed by John Leslie. It is directed by Ron Jeremy, who, though of equally legendary stature in straight porn, is a man of decidedly different vision.
Leslie, a veteran actor from such classic films as Reflections, Talk Dirty to Me, and Nothing to Hide, is known today for directing porn features for high-end companies like VCA and his own John Leslie Productions in association with Evil Angel. Uncut has been well received and has clearly found its market niche, but it bears little resemblance to recent Leslie opuses like Chameleons and Dog Walker.
This is not to say that Jeremy’s work is trash. It’s not, and how much fault can you find with the winner of the 1994 Adult Video News Award for “Best Non-Sexual Performance in a Gay Video” anyway? I’m just trying to set the record straight, as it were. I promise, I’ll try to ignore further errors for a while.
