Long Dong Silver got all the press during Clarence Thomas’ nasty confirmation fight, but now it looks as though Bad Mama Jama is finally going to have her day. According to Strange Justice: The Selling of Clarence Thomas, the then-EEOC chairman was spotted in a downtown video store renting a triple-X video starring Ms. Jama, an obese and sexually voracious black woman. Sez who? A highly respected Washington lawyer, that’s who—one of the many potential Anita-substantiating witnesses who either failed to materialize on time or were never called, but who were coaxed out by authors Jill Abramson and Jane Mayer. The impeachment of a Supreme Court justice for perjury just isn’t going to happen, but Abramson and Mayer, who have apparently viewed some of the “Long Dong Silver” video series, will discuss the strangest justice tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Politics & Prose, 5015 Connecticut Ave. NW.
