Nine years after the Wedding Present’s incarnation, only vocalist/guitarist/songwriter David Gedge remains from the original lineup. Yet no matter who serves in the distinctively British-sounding musician’s supporting cast—the band’s latest, Watusi, features an ex-Fall bassist and a guest spot by Beat Happening’s Heather Lewis—Gedge’s brisk, buzzing pop remains fetching.
