Promoter Daniel Bueno’s latest Central American espactaculo, the Carnival de San Miguel, is a tribute to the annual El Salvadoran celebration of the same name. While some of Bueno’s events offer fare that sounds as clichéd in Spanish as similar material in other languages—like middle-of-the-road romantic balladry—tonight’s roster is likely to produce some thrills. Mexico’s Los Fugitivos headline along with the Spanish reggae dancehall of Columbia’s El General, Algodon, Marisela, Aniceto Molina Ledesma, and Orquesta Canela at 5 p.m. at the D.C.
