I WAS AALLED AT THE letter from Eric Ames (The Mail, 11/25).
The kindest rebuke I can think of is “do not judge a book by its cover.”
How can Ames say that the Wilson High School and Deal Junior High School students are “clearly gaining nothing from school” based on what they look like and sound like as they descend the escalator at Tenleytown? He should talk to the principals at the two schools to see how many of these youngsters go on to college or to post-secondary employment of their choice.
