Giants walk among us—sort of. While classic-rock tub-thumper Mick Fleetwood may not survey the pop scene from the Asgardian heights he attained as part of one of the biggest-selling acts of the ’70s, he nonetheless remains a very tall fellow, and for some reason decided to open his eponymous nightclub in our midst and not in, say, trendy Aspen or hip L.A. This is to our benefit, since the genial Goliath tends to book the kind of basic, blues-based acts that Fleetwood Mac started out to be. The Lurch-scale rocker will squeeze behind the traps to perform with his group, Mick Fleetwood & Friends, at 8:30 p.m. at Fleetwood’s, 44 Canal Center Plaza, Alexandria. $10. (703) 548-6425.
