The title of actor Ed Gero’s evening at the Corcoran is “From Hotspur to Banquo,” and he’ll be chatting with John F. Andrews, author of The Everyman Shakespeare, so he’ll mostly be talking about things Elizabethan. But given the right questions, he could also tell tales about his less tony assignmentssay, his bit part in Die Hard 2, or his turn as the pantless policeman in Joe Orton’s What the Butler Saw. With or without pants, Gero’s one of the city’s most reliably persuasive stage presences. He’ll be talking about how he does it at 7:30 p.m. at the Corcoran Gallery of Art’s Hammer Auditorium, 17th & New York Ave. NW. $12. For reservations call (202) 347-3601.
