The Beatles have a new album out and the Sex Pistols are on tour: It seems safe to say that audiences like things things they’ve heard before. The Gregorian Chant Choir of Spain offers an alternative for those who don’t. Touring under the direction of Chant veteran Ismael Fernandez de la Cuesta, the choir promises a program of music that “has not been heard in public since the 12th and 13th centuries.” Tonight and tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, 1725 Rhode Island Ave. NW. $18-25.
