“We’re teenagers from Mars/And we don’t care,’’ declared the Misfits, and this stance often seemed less metaphor than simply shtick. Still, with their no-nonsense Stooges/Damned attack and the vocals of Glenn Danzig (later to become a death-metal star and pagan pinup boy), this New Jersey quartet bridged the gap between punk, goth, and hardcore with power chords and good-natured gore. The band’s reunion tour coincides with a four-disc, coffin-shaped box set that offers some 100 Misfits tracks, classic and otherwise. With Uranium 235 and Sardonica at 8 p.m. at the 9:30 Club, 815 V St. NW. $12. (202) 393-0930. (MJ)
