Over the years, Angelo Moore has given the Fishbone “Oath of Familyhood” to thousands of fans, but most recently he has read it to a few new band members and a brand-new label. The band’s ninth release, which marks the end of its decadelong relationship with Columbia, is its first for keyboardist Dallas Austin’s Rowdy Records (an Arista subsidiary). Chim Chim’s Badass Revenge confirms the group’s status as L.A.’s foremost punk-ska outfit, as well as the simple fact that the Red Hot Chili Peppers wouldn’t be anywhere without “Subliminal Fascism.” Urge and Super 8 open at 8:15 p.m. at the 9:30 Club, 815 V St. NW. $15.
