Since his Easy Rawlins series hit the scene, Walter Mosley just can’t stop making news. First, the president says Mosley’s one of his favorite writers. Then the first Rawlins book, Devil in a Blue Dress, is made into critically acclaimed movie starring Denzel Washington. And now comes news that Mosley has given one of his manuscripts, Gone Fishin’, to a small black publishing house, Black Classic Press. Mosley’s latest Easy Rawlins tale, A Little Yellow Dog, finds Easy Rawlins as a school custodian investigating a murder. If we told you any more, it wouldn’t be a mystery.
