Which of these are real Barbies?: “Star Trek” Barbie, “I Love Lucy” Barbie, “Chuck E. Cheese,” “Ground Zero,” or “Hostage and Terrorist” Barbie. They all are, though the last couple aren’t of the official Mattel-fashioned variety. Along with “Firestarter” Barbie (a flint-booted Rollerblade Barbie dragged over hairspray-soaked clothing), they are all incarnations of the ultimate babe-in-toyland that the world has come to collect, treasure, melt, and dismember since her birth in 1959. Some of these plastic princesses are likely to be available to the curious collector at the Barbie Goes to Washington Doll Sale & Show. From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Westpark Hotel, 8404 Westpark Dr., Tyson’s Corner. $5. (703) 734-2800. (Eddie Codel)
