“Happy people have no stories,” proclaims Therapy? on its latest album, Infernal Love, and that’s never been a problem with this defiantly forlorn Belfast trio. With electronic flourishes and a chamber-rock arrangement of Hüsker Dü’s “Diane,” Love overreaches. But the band should provide plenty of both crunch and melody live, especially if it draws on Love’s predecessor, 1993’s Troublegum, the band’s bright-burning apogee. With You Am I at 8:30 p.m. at the Black Cat, 1831 14th St. NW. $3. (202) 667-7960. (Mark Jenkins)
