The mixed-media art that decorates the booklet of Meat Beat Manifesto’s new Subliminal Sandwich is a perfect representation of the collage technique Manifesto-man Jack Dangers uses to create his sprawling electronic dub. Less tied to techno thump than in the past, Dangers highlights breakbeats and deep riddims along with his patented snatches of found voices, polyphonic percussion, and bowel-crunching bass. Over two discs, Sandwich is a bit filling, but some of it tastes so damn good you’re guaranteed to eat both halves. With the tribal techno of Loop Guru and the John Cage-goes-dub of Moonshake. At 9:30 p.m. at the 9:30 Club, 815 V St. NW. $12. (202) 393-0930. (Christopher Porter)
