After a daylong blackout and countless pissed-off customers demanding to be electronically served, America Online will do anything to boost its popularity. As a follow-up to those little floppy-disc mailers of free hours, the online service is hosting “America Online on the Move” to demonstrate just how a subscription to cyberspace can be a vast improvement in living. Who doesn’t already know about gossipy chat rooms, way-more-than-we-need-to-know personal home pages, and enough junk e-mail to make the postman jealous? Perhaps such people will emerge from under their rocks from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Mellon Auditorium, 13th & Constitution Ave. NW. FREE. (703) 448-8700. (Tina Plottel)
