Perhaps it’s just coincidence that Touch and Go is now home to such instrumental ensembles as Rachel’s, the Dirty Three, and Man…or Astroman?, but it does seem as if the days of rust-belt grind are fading. As if to affirm that, Wisconsin post-punk blues band and T&G mainstay Killdozer brings its farewell tour to town tonight. Opening is Baltimore’s existentially lumbering Meatjack, who definitely have not abandoned the grind. With Poem Rocket at 8 p.m. at Phantasmagoria, 11319 Elkin St., Wheaton. $8. (301) 949-8886. (MJ)
