A WISE MAN ONCE SAID, “It is better to keep one’s mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.” Your comments regarding the soon-to-be-released movie about Dorothy Day (Film Clips, 10/18) certainly removed doubt! Perhaps you aren’t aware of the Catholic Worker or of the two Dorothy Day shelters in the D.C. area catering to the needy. Your snide comments do not belong in an urban newspaper with a presumably educated readership.

By the way, since you seem to dislike movies so much, maybe the food page would suit you.
