A friend and I are try-

ing to figure out how to get the very first Washington City Paper

of the week. That would of course have to come off the truck when it makes its first stop—alpha drop.

For the last few years, we’ve had a running competition to get the first one. Currently, my friend holds the record—8:32 on Thursday morning from the box at the Capitol South Metro.

Where is alpha drop? Is there more than one truck? Do they vary their route(s)? Please help me beat my friend’s record and I promise I won’t stalk your drivers anymore.
