On her latest record, Nine Objects of Desire, Suzanne Vega has rediscovered glamour. With her red Louise Brooks hairdo and torch-song crooning, she’s back to the 1920s movie-star personality she created in “Marlene on the Wall.” It’s already on her list of alter egos (which also includes an abused kid and the ghost of Billy Martin). Vega’s multiple identities aren’t mere self-indulgence, though. The point is always storytelling, which is what she does best. Ex-Jellyfisher Jason Falkner opens at 7 p.m. at the 9:30 Club, 815 V St. NW. $20. (202) 393-0930. (Tina Plottel)
