By the way, I favor “The You Know, Whatever, Nineties” as the perfect slogan for this decade of aggressive apathy, but only sneaker companies seem to care about slogans anymore. I still think it captures the mood as well as “The Swingin’ Sixties,” “The Disco Seventies,” or “The Go-Go Eighties.”
