If you’re tired of seeing Santa’s rosy cheeks and fat ass in every shopping mall you wander into this merry season, there is another place to go. The Museum of American History Holiday Celebration makes merry over cultural diversity Dec. 26-31. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s Eve will be spun into a week of revelry for transcultural enthusiasts ready to step away from the yuletide norm. Get your eat on (and take a break from Rudolf) while discovering your neighbors’ music, dance, food, and crafts. From noon-4 p.m. at the Museum of American History, 14th & Constitution Ave. NW. FREE. (202) 357-2700. (Deborah Rouse)
