I was extremely disappointed to read your “A C- in Torts” article about me in the 2/7 City Desk.

As I specifically told your reporter when she called, the motivation behind my intent to sue Georgetown University is for the principle of academic freedom for students in the classroom, freedom from political or ideological discrimination in the classroom, and for the securement of due process in the university’s appellate procedures—not “for a better grade” as your paper contended.

Why do your reporters bother calling people like myself if they intend to disregard what we say in favor of the fiction they’d prefer to write?
