In the early ’80s, Deanna Bogart contributed vocals and rockin’ boogie-woogie piano riffs to Cowboy Jazz, a spiffy band that fused sophisticated pop harmonies with western swing. Since Cowboy Jazz broke up, Bogart has explored bluesier music. Her present band, comprising vocalist/guitarist Kajun Kelly, bassist Eric Scott, and drummer Mike Aubin, has been together for about a year and will help Bogart deliver her unique line in pop-blues tonight. At 9:30 p.m. at Twist & Shout, 4800 Auburn Ave., Bethesda. $7. (301) 652-3383. (Ken Roseman)
