When D.C. United and other teams signed famous Latin American players for last year’s inaugural Major League Soccer season, observers called it a shrewd move that would pack Latinos into stadiums. The ploy worked. MLS may have learned the trick, however, from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus, which today will put on its fourth annual bilingual show, “Noche Latina,” aimed at Washington’s Latino families. The Easter Sunday special plugs the participation of Hispanic performers like Artus Chavez Novel (“one of the first two Mexican graduates from Clown College”), airborne families known as the Flying Vargas and the Flying Tabares, andstraight from Spainthe High-Wire Quiros with Rene Ayala. All that’s missing is a running of the bulls. At 5 p.m. at D.C. Armory, 19th & East Capitol Sts. $11.50-18.50. (202) 432-7328. (Tom Stabile)
