As someone who thanks God everyday that there is a daily local alternative to the Washington Post, I think it is time to stop dissing the Times (Paper Trail, 5/16). Even when the columnists are being cheeky, at least they’re reporting news that many of us wouldn’t be fortunate enough to hear about through other sources (much like Loose Lips). And while you’re criticizing them for misspellings, you may want to take a second look at how you spell Mr. Hubbell’s first name. Clue: He wasn’t named after the Internet.
