There’s still time to nominate local icons for Best of D.C.
Like quilting parties, bake sales, celebrity golf tournaments, and old-fashioned hog killings, bikini motorcycle washes have long provided a great way for the community to join together for a good cause. So strap on your bikini, straddle your muddy Harley, and ride down to the “Second Annual Bikini Bike Wash,” for an afternoon of Father’s Day food, fun, and suds to benefit local children’s charities. From noon-5 p.m. at Capitol Easyriders, 8095 Snouffer School Rd., Gaithersburg. $5/bike. (301) 670-4644. (Eddie Dean)
