Frank Cho’s cartoons aren’t sexist, they’re boring (“Brandy, You’re a Fine Girl,” 6/6)! Maybe going syndicated has taken the edge out of his work. Liberty Meadows, according to my husband (also Korean-American), is “just a Korean guy obsessed with a fantasy white girl. A one-note song that won’t stop playing.”

We both love and miss terribly Calvin and Hobbes, Bloom County, et al., and feel that the comics are not the same without them. But we also include the yawn-meister Liberty Meadows in that dull, lackluster mix. We’re still waiting for something creative to come along.
