Keanu Reeves—Renaissance man? Well, not exactly. Let’s call him Our Little Visionary, the title of his band Dogstar’s debut full-length CD. It’s only available at their web site, or at the show for those who plan to suffer through lines of Lolitas waiting hungrily for a glimpse of the bass player. Dogstar’s mediocre frat rock is nothing that Counting Crows or Hootie couldn’t do. Of course, there are no movie stars in either of those bands to make their music remotely interesting. Keanu’s got to be stoked, though, since the movie he ditched for Dogstar tanked with the critics who laughed at him for choosing this rock-star role in the first place. Silverjet and Modern Yesterday open at 7:30 p.m. at the 9:30 Club,

815 V St. NW. $20. (202) 393-0930.
