TUESDAY
“There are only two types of people who are always happy,” Richard Jeni has said: “The devoutly religious and the criminally insane.” Good comedians, of course, are a little of boththey worship laughter and irrationally prostrate themselves before the public in order to get it. You won’t leave absolved, but some happiness will be dispensed at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday at the Improv, 1140 Connecticut Ave. NW. $12. (202) 296-7008. (DN)
