Adventure World is more than just a poor man’s King’s Dominion; lately it’s been the center of a hometown soap opera: The sweltering heat of a summer’s day evokes raging tempers, and the overcrowded park succumbs to violence resulting in a sweaty stabbing. So Adventure World higher-ups thumb their noses in irony and host the “Soap Stars Extravaganza,” and boyish daytime babes band together to send women’s panties into a frenzy. Days of Our Lives star Austin Peck, who plays the rugged yet tender Austin Reed, will be lining up the women along with some less significant testosterone trophies from Sunset Beach. So pack up your autograph book and a bulletproof vest and head on down to see hunks from All My Children, The Young and the Restless, and The Guiding Light from 2-6 p.m. at Adventure World, 13710 Central Ave., Largo. $24.99.
