Think Twister, m.c. escher, Alexander Calder, acrobats from Cirque du Soleil or China’s national circus, and you’ll begin to get a sense of Pilobolus Dance Theatre. After 25 years together, the company remains as limber and flexible as a chicken bone soaked in vinegar. As much about magic as it is about dance, Pilobolus creates optical illusions with the human body. Even as you watch them move in and out of intricate body sculptures, you’ll still find yourself saying, “How’d they do that?” At 8:30 p.m. at Wolf Trap Filene Center, 1624 Trap Rd., Vienna. $7-24.
