In your 7/11 issue you ran a feature on Councilmember Jack Evans (“Backyard Barbecue”). It puzzles me that you would focus upon somewhat obscure complaints from two people in Ward 2. Two disgruntled people do not constitute an entire ward, nor do they represent all constituents who happen to live in those particular precincts. I venture to say that if you should conduct a public opinion poll in those precincts, you would find that most people are quite satisfied with Jack’s performance. I’d like your readers to know that in Ward 2 Southwest we are very happy with Jack and feel that he has been supportive of and responsive to our various community needs.
