With “I rocked the mix as he did/I ripped rhymes as he did” and “I may not be seen, but I’ll be damned if I won’t be heard,” Toni Blackman intones what may one day become the female MC’s manifesto, “The Feminine Voice of Hiphop.” When Blackman joins forces with three other female MCs, two women musicians, and three dudes for good measure, to form da cipHer, it’s hard not to see them. As the band has been getting more props, tonight’s show may be the most intimate venue you’ll get to see them in. Mikes get rocked at 9 & 11 p.m. at Mango’s, 2017 14th St. NW. $5. (202) 332-2104.
