Please assure Mark Gauvreau Judge that he is paranoid. I couldn’t see it in Courtney Rubin’s piece on his book (Artifacts, 8/15), but he proved it himself with a pathetic letter in your 8/22 edition.
Stop whining about minor facts like whether nuns or priests run Georgetown Prep. Cut out the irrelevant personal attacks about “humorless feminists.” Are you just a weasely writer, or did you think that ending with a question would make you sound glib and cool?
Washington City Paper is about attitude, and Rubin was writing with one. If you don’t want people to have opinions about your book, then don’t try to sell it.
