Stephanie Mencimer’s article (“Crony Baloney,” 9/5) shows the fallacies of liberalism and the benefits of libertarianism. She also skillfully demonstrates the immorality implicit in Marion Barry’s reliance upon ill-conceived “socially conscious” economic and administrative policy. Wait a minute! That’s precisely what Congress and Clinton have been doing all these years. And Congress is supposed to bail D.C. out? I don’t think so.
