Haitian band T-Vice isn’t a bunch of poor kids from Port-au-Prince out making rebel music. Led by the baby-faced Martino brothers—whose father’s group, Top Vice, will be in the area on the 20th—this next-generation compas crew travels between its Miami and Caribbean homes dispensing pop with international elements. Its CD, In the House, emphasizes schmaltzy love songs driven by high-pitched yet lush keyboards evocative of both resort lounges and Bollywood soundtracks. House also includes more-promising cuts that gather sweet-voiced choruses, rap interludes, dancehall reggae bass, and faster, Carnival-inspired tempos. At 9 p.m. at the Camillia Room, 1600 Camillus Dr., Silver Spring. $25. (301) 588-2278. (Steve Kiviat)
