In the beginning, there was Kraftwerk. And Kraftwerk begat Einstürzende Neubauten, who begat Front 242, who begat BiGod 20, and a host of Teutonic industrial Goth bands sprang forth. And the Lord saw that it was good. Then the ’90s came and dance music became all cheery and bright. Now, the arrival of C-TEC may not signal the apocalypse, but with Front’s Jean-Luc Demeyer, and members of Nizter Ebb, Crisis NTI, and Cubanate at the helm, I’m giddily awaiting the second coming of industrial techno. Or maybe Ragnarok. With DJ Acucrack at 8 p.m. at the Capital Ballroom, 1015 Half St. SE. $10. (202) 554-1500. (Dan Avery)
