I’ll be ridiculed for knowing this information (and writing a letter to admit it), but there was a mistake in Dave McKenna’s otherwise excellent article about the recent wrestling event at MCI Center (Cheap Seats, 1/9). The legendary Hulk Hogan did play a villain early in his career, which landed him his role in Rocky III. He jumped from the bad-guy role in the now-defunct AWA to the WWF, where, as McKenna described, he began his steroid-fueled drive to heroic greatness.
