I find your printing of the second paragraph of Dan Vergano’s letter regarding Ronald Reagan/National Airport (The Mail, 2/20) incredibly offensive:
“The physical parallels provide a compelling reason for the name change. D.C. lacks self-rule, and so does Ron.”
I did not know that it is now considered proper etiquette to make fun of those who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. Such a remark was in bad taste, as was your printing of it.
