The satirical article in “Loose Lips” (3/20) recommending that Marion Barry run Hilda Mason’s Grandmother to the World Foundation was on target. It was on target because Barry has proclaimed himself a “financial wizard.” For evidence of his expertise in this field he can point to the District now being run by the white-wing, Republican congressionally appointed financial control board and the city’s low bond rating.
Maybe Barry and Mason can team up and lend their expertise and experience to the “struggling” Microsoft Corporation or the “moribund” U.S. stock market.
Finally, a challenge of faith to this dynamic duo’s lemming-like supporters. Would you allow Barry and Mason to manage your financial affairs?
