The Kennedy Center is usually full of mature sure-things, but this week it clears two stages for seven youthfully unbound productions during the “American College Theater Festival,” including Louisiana State University’s performance of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and University of Nevada-Las Vegas students belting out Falsettos. James Madison University will premiere National Student Play Writing Award winner Jerome Hairston’s Carriage, about a widowed mom’s dating tumult in an Oklahoma trailer park community. Look out Roseanne! The festival starts on Monday, and to see them “before they were famous,” line up for the “Free Ticket Giveaway” today from 10-10:30 a.m. at the Kennedy Center Grand Foyer. Free.
