I read the cover story (“The Drifters,” 7/24)….Sanford King Size permanent markers make an excellent and cheap alternative to shoe dye….I’ve personally had success going from burgundy to black, and the chisel tip gets in those “hard-to-get” spots….I see there are other uses after reading the article.
