As regulars of Al Tiramisu in Dupont Circle are undoubtedly aware, chef Luigi Diotaiuti works a dining room as well as he does a kitchen. If you order the catch of the day, plan on being eye-to-eye with your meal before it’s cooked, and the Italian-born chef’s taste in printed fabrics would please the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Diotaiuti’s gifts as a performer will be put to good use this evening as he presides over a makeshift kitchen at the Borders in Arlington, which is celebrating Italian Book Month.
