The best radio station in town, slighted again (“Guerrilla Broadcasting,” 10/9)…Well, don’t worry, we’re used to it! WUMC is the Milligan College station in Tennessee. WMUC 88.1 FM, on the other hand, has been the DC/Baltimore area’s only free-form student radio station since 1979. Our broadcast radius extends up to 10 miles (depending on terrain and your antenna, of course), and we can be heard via RealAudio at both 40Kbps—that’s hi-fi quality—and 16Kbps.
