Looking for something scary to do on Halloween? No? How about something weird, like Durham, N.C.,’s Torch Marauder, a blue-skinned singer-songwriter superhero who performs in a black cape, alternately battling and performing a duet with his archenemy, the Torched Conquistador. It seems Mr. Marauder was in so many bands that broke up, he was driven to devise a devious and complex scheme: his nemesis and partner appears onstage via TV screen and VCR. According to Torch, “They’ll have to dismember me to break up this act.” On Halloween? I hope not. Also appearing is the Northern Virginia anti-rock combo, Alzo Boszormenyi & the Acid Achievers, named for its Hungarian immigrant leader, who’s given to rants while performing a costumed mix of psychedelic and punk rock. At 9 p.m. at Galaxy Hut, 2711 Wilson Blvd., Arlington. Free. (703) 525-8646. (Don Smith)
