I’m not sure why you chose to knock the story from the Washington Post about the Wallace brothers (Paper Trail, 12/4). I read both installments, and even with whatever imperfections, I found it a fascinating view into a world I don’t often get to see. Leon Dash is consistently bold and lucid, and I appreciate his seeking out this kind of material, which far exceeds 90 percent of the mediocrity we see so much print devoted to in the Post otherwise.
