Dave McKenna staked out a secure position on a limb of the tree of prophecy with this comment in his column (Cheap Seats, “Losing Interest,” 3/19) re the Redskins sale: “Everybody knows how this charade will ultimately end: The Milstein/Snyder group will own the Redskins, and Cooke Jr., Casserly, and Turner will be out on the street. The only question is whether the sale will be approved the easy way…or the Al Davis way—by 12 jurors.”

Given subsequent events, including the published statement to Redskins fans signed (if not written) by the unlamented Mr. Milstein, would Mr. McKenna care to partake of a minor feast of crow?

I’ll supply the humble pie for dessert….
