“Eminem is a degenerate piece of suicidal white trash corrupting the minds of young America.” “He makes songs about taking hallucinogenic mushrooms and murdering his baby’s mother.” Yeah, yeah, yeah, get over it. Whoever booked overwhite success Eminem’s first big tour must know hiphop pretty well to have selected the infamous Beatnuts as his opening act. For those unaware: Eminem is neither the first nor the foulest foul mouth in rap. Though mysteriously denied commercial success over the course of two and a half albums, the Beatnuts have consistently embraced the values espoused on their first release: “I want to fuck, drink beer, and smoke some shit.” Also to their credit, the Beatnuts are responsible for some of the most head-nod-inducing tracks in the genre and are legends of hiphop production. The band will be raising the parental-cringe factor for Eminem’s D.C. appearance with the CrownSayers at 7 p.m. at Nation, 1015 Half St. SE. $20. (202) 554-1500. (Neil Drumming)
