Having replaced many of its green-screened computer terminals with colorful new machines, the Martin Luther King Memorial Library has also decided to purge other orphans of the ’80s. As of this week, the dustbin of history—as exhibited by the discarded books in the library’s Books Plus book sale—includes: Introduction to the Yugoslav Economy, Turbo Pascal 3.0 (copyright 1986, “the de facto industry standard”), and The I-Hate-Preppies Handbook.
